The UW Cloud service enables the use of IT resources from the University of Warsaw’s data center. Within UW Cloud, you can launch:
- virtual machines,
- storage space,
- an object file system,
- a backup service.

Each primary unit of the University of Warsaw receives the following resources as part of the initial subscription:
- Number of virtual machines: 2
- Virtual processors (vCPU): 4
- RAM: 8 GB
- Disk: 200 GB + NFS share 1 TB
- Network bandwidth: 10 Gbps
Expanding available resources
To increase the available resources, submit a request through the DocSense system: generator.ds.uw.edu.pl
Select the option: Procurement request for the framework agreement -> UW Cloud - Services within the UW internal cloud.
